2nd Graders are Inspired by Joan Miro

2nd Grade Artists have been discussing the art elements of line and shape. We discussed geometric and organic shapes as well as various types of line. We looked to Joan Miro's artwork for inspiration. 2nd graders used line and shape to create an imaginary creature in the style of Joan Miro. We drew in Sharpie (There are no mistakes in art!) and then colored in the shapes. These are awesome!

  1. "There are no mistakes in art"? I love this idea. Thanksgiving turkeys can indeed be turquoise!
