Fanciful Giraffes by 2nd Grade

2nd Grade Artists are finishing up their artwork for this year's fundraiser and boy is it creative! They pretended they were on safari and came across a group of giraffes snacking on leaves. They stood in the middle and looked up...and guess what they saw! They drew giraffes from below and added designs and patterns. They traced with colored sharpie and painted with watercolor. They then used flat brushes, learning a new painting technique and added branches. They leaves that the giraffes are munching were made with fingerprints.
