3rd Grade Creative Chickens

3rd Grade Artists created some very creative chickens for the Houston Rodeo. They first drew the ouline of the chicken using directed drawing. Then they let their creative juices flow. They filled in the entire chicken with patterns, lines, pictures, etc. They then traced the entire piece with black sharpie. They were allowed to add a few details to show a setting for their chickens if they wanted to. The chickens were painted with watercolor, cut out, and arranged on a black background for contrast. Boy did these 3rd Grade Artist get creative! The following 5 artworks have been selected to represent Mossman at the District Rodeo Art Show.
