1st Grade Armadillos!

First Grade Artists created Creative Armadillos for the Houston Rodeo this year! We all drew our armadilos together, focusing on shapes. They then cued lines to create patterns in the ribs of the armadillo's armor. Then the artists crew a creative background for their armadillos. They took size into consideration when designing the background, trying to make things the look like the size that they should be compared to the armadillo. After all of this drawing, they traced with colored sharpie and filled in with watercolor! These are awesome! These are the 5 artworks that were chosed to represent Mossman at the District Rodeo Art Show.
